Prayer Warriors

So this church service seems-
- At least to me--
 Like a popularity contest--
 Why can't they see?
-- Line em' up at the front Would you look how they shine!-
- They call them prayer warriors--
 Well o.k... That's fine--
 But when I think of a warrior--
 This isn't my vision--
 Let's form a committee--
 Before we make a decision?- -
 I put out my plea-
- I ask them for prayer --
 My phone does not ring --
There is no text there?--
 But, come to the front--
 Come join the "display"
 And then sister...then...then..
We can pray.
 Because these warriors don't get in the trenches it seems
 Their clothes are all pressed And their hands are too clean.
 Can't go past the third pew in order to gleen
 An understanding of His people and all of their pain
 Hey, no worries you sure do look good when you pray!
 Do we think this is Christ vision for the church?
 Is this a production Or a healing for hurts?
 You might have to step down from the pretty grand stand,
 Come out to the body And take a dirty hand.
 Don't just talk about it in a vision quest meeting.
 Get out there warrior the body is bleeding..
 And pleading...
 For some love understanding and an authentic prayer.
 They may not come to the front...
